Please replace the filter every 2 weeks to keep the water fresh.

One of the reasons you need the filter is because it keeps the the water free of debris and other contaminants, like pet fur and saliva.

The filter absorbs more water (and therefore cleans more water) when it's wet and expanded. Soaking the filter removes particulate matter that may have settled in the filter.

Yes. For safety reasons, the water fountain will shut off automatically when there is insufficient water.

The filter may not be full soaked. Please soak the filter in a clean bowl (not in the water tank) for 5 minutes before the first use.

1) Fill with water between MIN and MAX. The pump will fail if it runs dry.
2) Clean the pump, water tank, and drinking basin.

1) For first time use (or reuse after long-time storage), the water pump needs to first discharge air, and it's normal if the water output speed slows down initially.
